Senior Principal - Business Consulting

Job Overview:

• Infosys Consulting seeks dynamic and driven professionals to enhance our Life Sciences consulting team.
• In the role of Senior Principal, you will engage in strategic initiatives focused on risk and compliance advisory within the Life Sciences sector, assisting pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and medical device companies in enhancing their strategic business capabilities while expanding your expertise in this field.

Core Responsibilities:

• Oversee Pre-Sales and Sales efforts, including the development of proposals, solutions, and value propositions in collaboration with larger Infosys teams. You will lead the proposal development process, solution formulation, pricing strategies, client presentations, contract negotiations, and deal closure.
• Build and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders, proactively identifying business development opportunities and leading workstreams to foster new business initiatives.
• Provide leadership on critical engagements, ensuring successful outcomes while cultivating deep client relationships.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in Risk Management, Quality Management, Document Management, and Compliance Management.
• Comprehend how key risks and controls affect the business from a pharmaceutical operations or systems viewpoint.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of the risks and opportunities associated with standard operating procedures and the governance policy framework.
• Recommend risk mitigation and audit strategies based on the precise identification of potential market, business, pharmaceutical, operational, IT, and talent risks.
• Skilled in planning and executing functional and domain-specific risk assessments for Pharma and Medical Device programs and projects.
• Proficient in utilizing industry-standard risk management tools to perform root cause analyses on trends and address deviations through preventive, detective, and corrective measures.
• Experience working with Risk Management, Security, and Compliance Policy frameworks, including ISEC Compliance and Records Management.
• Apply knowledge of the company's short-term and long-term strategic objectives and the associated risks.
• Stay informed about market and regulatory frameworks and trends that may significantly impact organizational strategies, policies, or risks.
• Possess knowledge and hands-on experience with conducting periodic control assessments and risk evaluations.
• Familiarity with various validation tools and templates utilized in the Pharma and Medical Device sectors.
• Engage in analyst meetings, industry speaking events, and publish white papers or viewpoints in leading industry publications.
• Contribute to practice development initiatives, mentor consultants, and participate in training and staffing processes.
• AI Risk Assurance.

Technical Qualifications:

• Proven track record and depth of expertise in one or more of the following areas.
• A minimum of 18 years of professional experience within the Life Sciences industry, gained through work in consulting services or relevant industry roles.
• A background in IT is preferred to grasp the broader impact of business organization missions and strategies along with technical complexities related to the program.
• Experienced in steering strategic and tactical conversations with senior stakeholders.
• An MBA, MS, or another advanced degree is preferred.

Additional Duties:

• A successful history of utilizing industry-leading tools and methodologies to conduct risk assessments and compliance evaluations, while developing digital solutions in a multidisciplinary, multi-vendor corporate environment.
• Experience in leading strategic and tactical discussions with CxO-level executives.
• Direct industry experience at pharmaceutical companies, medical device firms, or pharma distribution organizations is an advantage.
