Performance test lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and implement performance testing scripts utilizing JMeter and/or LoadRunner
• Conduct various types of testing, including Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance, Soak, Capacity, and Scalability testing
• Identify application performance bottlenecks and suggest optimization strategies
• Utilize APM tools and infrastructure monitoring solutions to track system performance
• Work collaboratively with development, DevOps, DBA, and infrastructure teams to address performance challenges
• Establish performance test strategies, scenarios, and workload models
• Set up test environments and prepare necessary test data
• Evaluate performance metrics related to servers, applications, databases, and networks
• Create comprehensive performance test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Incorporate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines as appropriate
• Required Skills
• Extensive experience in Performance Testing
• Proficient in Apache JMeter and/or Micro Focus LoadRunner
• Background in creating and managing performance testing scripts
• Deep understanding of Load, Stress, Endurance, Spike, and Volume Testing
• Experience in analyzing response times, throughput, CPU, memory, disk utilization, and network metrics
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTTP, HTTPS, REST APIs, and Web Services
• Strong SQL skills for validating database performance
• Experience with Linux/Unix commands and server log analysis
• Comprehension of application architecture, microservices, and distributed systems
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices
