Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with extensive experience in Temenos TAP, banking applications, microservices architecture, and enterprise integration. This role entails designing, developing, testing, and maintaining critical banking product solutions capable of processing high-volume, real-time financial transactions while ensuring compliance with security and reliability standards.

The perfect candidate will possess practical experience with Temenos TAP-based banking solutions, advanced Java programming skills, and a background in integrating banking products within highly regulated environments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Engineer enterprise-level banking applications utilizing Java and Spring technologies.
2. Adapt and enhance Temenos TAP banking product solutions to fulfill business needs.
3. Create scalable microservices and REST APIs that underpin banking product capabilities.
4. Design batch processing frameworks using Spring Batch for financial transaction handling and reconciliation tasks.
5. Implement resilient services leveraging Resilience4j patterns.
6. Connect banking applications with various internal and external systems using Apache Camel, IBM MQ, and Kafka.
7. Write secure, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with banking industry standards and best practices.
8. Engage in solution design, architectural evaluations, and technical discussions.
9. Develop automated unit and integration tests with JUnit.
10. Ensure code quality through SonarQube and address any technical debt.
11. Carry out performance and load testing using JMeter.
12. Assist with production deployments and resolve issues in critical banking applications.
13. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and Client Implementation teams.
14. Participate in Agile development methodologies, sprint ceremonies, and release management tasks.
15. Guide junior developers and offer technical support to project teams.
