Senior Finance Analyst (Costing)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the standard cost change form, ensuring accurate system input and coordinating essential modifications within the ERP system.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports promptly and accurately to aid in cost analysis and management reporting.
• Execute month-end closing activities for inventory, including ledger entries for inventory reconciliation, negative WIP, WIP aging, and adjustments for stock in transit value.
• Contribute to and engage in projects aimed at improving business processes.
• Carry out accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned on an as-needed basis.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance/Professional Qualification in Accounting (CIMA/ACCA).
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within a Cost Accounting and multinational manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Oracle and Hyperion is advantageous.
• Knowledge in job costing or process costing, along with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and Excel skills, with a keen eye for detail, organization, and meticulousness.
• Self-motivated with the capability to collaborate effectively within a team and consistently meet tight deadlines.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin will be considered a valuable asset based on business requirements.
