Senior Product Technician (Based in Ipoh)

Responsibilities

• Support the product engineer in achieving target test yields.
• Ensure the maintenance and qualification of equipment, tools, and fixtures utilized in production.
• Conduct regular verification and calibration of equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Offer technical assistance on processes to maintain seamless production flow.
• Implement minor improvement projects aimed at enhancing process performance and efficiency.
• Commit to exceeding customer expectations in alignment with the Quality Policy, taking responsibility for overall product yields and initiating actions to boost these yields.
• Monitor action plans designed to enhance product yield.
• Oversee product documentation, including specifications and other related materials.
• Ensure readiness for product transfers and manage revision changes to documentation.
• Adhere to Safety, ESD, Cleanroom, and Housekeeping protocols while performing additional tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
• Pursue continual improvement initiatives.
• Employ Risk-Based Thinking in planning and executing tasks.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company policies, regulations, and relevant codes.

Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Electrical and Electronics or Telecommunications.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related industry and mass production environment.
• Proficient in computer skills, with strong communication abilities for reporting information and data.
• Familiar with testing instruments such as Spectrum Analyzers and Oscilloscopes.
• Basic understanding of RF concepts is advantageous.
• Able to work independently and lead initiatives for product qualifications and enhancements.
• Knowledgeable in problem analysis and standard data analysis techniques.
