Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Security Specialist in Infrastructure Security, you will use your technical expertise to implement and deploy Cloud & Infrastructure Security services for client billable engagements. You will collaborate closely with development, services, and network teams to ensure the technical solutions you deliver are relevant and effective for incident resolution.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Implement Security Solutions: Create and execute implementation plans, testing plans, and deployment plans using security technologies and solutions aligned to client requirements. This includes developing proof-of-concepts and ensuring the integrity and resilience of critical networks/systems.
• Provide Technical Guidance: Deliver technical guidance and support to clients and IBM personnel in multi-vendor, multi-protocol environments, applying infrastructure security expertise such as Firewalls, SASE, WAF/DDOS, and Micro Segmentation.
• Collaborate with Teams: Partner with development, services, and network teams to maintain the relevance and effectiveness of technical solutions provided to support incident resolution.
• Support Client Requirements: Use technical expertise to support service products based on assets and reference architectures, ensuring client requirements for Cloud & Infrastructure Security services are met.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Exposure to Infrastructure Security: Experience working with infrastructure security components such as Firewalls, SASE, WAF/DDOS, and Micro Segmentation to secure cloud and infrastructure environments.
• Implementation Planning: Exposure to designing and executing implementation plans, testing plans, and deployment plans using security technology and solutions to meet client requirements.
• Multi-Vendor Environment: Experience working in multi-vendor, multi-protocol environments and providing technical guidance and assistance to clients and personnel.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Security: Exposure to applying technical expertise to support service products using assets and reference architectures for Cloud & Infrastructure Security services.
• Incident Resolution: Experience working with development, services, and network teams to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of technical solutions provided for incident resolution.
  
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Advanced Security Technologies: Exposure to emerging security technologies and trends in Cloud & Infrastructure Security, including threat intelligence, advanced threat protection, and security orchestration.
• Multi-Cloud Environments: Experience working across multiple cloud providers, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and securing infrastructure in these environments.
• Scripting and Automation: Exposure to scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell, and automation tools, such as Ansible or Terraform, to automate security tasks and workflows.
