Job Description

• Establish and uphold security protocols and systems to protect the organization's assets.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in cybersecurity operations, security engineering, managed security services, infrastructure security, or similar technology risk roles.
• Continuously monitor and assess security incidents, taking prompt action to reduce risks.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as email security, IDPS, WAF, anti-malware, attack surface monitoring, certificate management, vulnerability management, SIEM/SOAR, endpoint security, or cloud security measures.
• Thorough understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, secure configuration practices, incident response processes, threat detection, vulnerability management, access control, logging, and security monitoring.
• Preferred working knowledge of scripting or automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar.
• Excellent stakeholder management, documentation, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to thrive in a regulated financial services environment.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure adherence to security policies and regulations.
• Offer guidance and training to employees on security best practices and awareness.
• Assess and suggest security tools and technologies to improve system protection.
• Document security processes, incidents, and resolutions for future reference.
• Assist the technology team in deploying secure systems and applications.
