Scrum Master

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and engaged Scrum Master to lead our diverse teams in delivering exceptional products efficiently. In this position, you will advocate for Agile methodologies, oversee sprint schedules and project timelines, coordinate with essential stakeholders, and take proactive measures to eliminate obstacles that hinder team progression.

Primary Responsibilities

Agile Facilitation & Sprint Management

• Conduct essential Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Oversee and monitor sprint roadmaps, team capacity, and project timelines using Gantt charts or visual milestone tools.
• Assist the Product Owner in effectively managing and prioritizing the product backlog.

Stakeholder Coordination & Engagement

• Act as the primary liaison between development teams, Product Owners, and external/business stakeholders.
• Articulate project progress, velocity, and milestone updates clearly to all levels within the organization.
• Manage expectations, harmonize competing priorities, and promote transparency across functions.

Blockage Resolution & Support

• Identify, monitor, and proactively address blockers, risks, and operational challenges.
• Adopt a hands-on approach to problem-solving, facilitating discussions across teams to maintain workflow.
• Protect the team from external interruptions and cultivate a focus on delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years working in the capacity of a Scrum Master.
• Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PSM I, or a comparable Agile certification is preferred.
• Tool Proficiency: Strong experience with Agile and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana, MS Project).
• Skills: Outstanding communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Mindset: Proactive, flexible, and empathetic with a commitment to continuous improvement.
