Job Description:

Senior SAP FICO Consultant

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP Data Migration

• Lead and manage finance data migration from legacy platforms to SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.

• Create and maintain data migration strategies, project plans, mapping documents, and validation rules.

• Migrate financial master data, including:

o General Ledger accounts

o Customer and vendor master data

o Cost centers and profit centers

o Fixed assets and asset balances

o Bank master data

• Handle transactional and balance migration, covering GL balances, open vendor and customer items, asset balances, and open items.

• Perform source-to-target data mapping, data cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.

• Support migration of historical financial data when required by the project scope.

• Conduct mock migrations, migration rehearsals, cutover activities, and production migration execution.

• Analyze migration errors and collaborate with technical teams to address and resolve data-related issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall SAP experience, with substantial hands-on SAP FICO functional experience.

• Strong working knowledge of SAP FI and CO processes and configuration.

• Hands-on experience in financial master data and transactional data migration.

• Strong understanding of opening balances, open-item migration, asset migration, and financial reconciliation.

• Knowledge of data mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation techniques.

• Experience with SAP Activate methodology and implementation lifecycle.

• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
