Senior QA Engineer

We are seeking a proactive Software Tester who has a strong passion for Exploratory Testing, Agile methodologies, Software Testing, and is well-versed in the latest tools and techniques in the industry.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee testing initiatives across web, mobile, and backend systems to guarantee high-quality product releases.
• Develop and implement detailed test strategies, utilizing both manual and automated testing methods.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger, ensuring backend functionality and smooth integration.
• Perform UI testing to assess responsiveness, functionality, and consistency across various platforms.
• Create and sustain test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium or Appium.
• Incorporate testing workflows into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for streamlined deployment.
• Guide and mentor junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality-driven practices.
• Document and manage test plans, risks, and outcomes to monitor QA progress.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to synchronize QA activities with business and technical objectives.
• Explore and implement new tools and techniques to enhance testing efficiency and breadth.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 5 years in quality assurance, emphasizing both manual and automated testing.
• Skilled in test automation, API testing, and SQL for backend validation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Demonstrated success in mentoring team members and spearheading QA initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and presenting testing outcomes.
• Proficient in QA methodologies and test design techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools to boost efficiency.
• Experience with performance testing using tools like LoadRunner or BlazeMeter.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack or AWS Device Farm.
