Job Description
- Utilize a user-focused methodology to comprehend user requirements and convert them into actionable functional designs
- Create sustainable solutions for SAP IBP, PP, and MM, guiding them from initial concept through to launch, in accordance with enterprise architecture and product vision
- Ensure in-depth product understanding and maintain comprehensive documentation across Digital Planning platforms
- Examine end-to-end business processes and evaluate their impact on other products or platforms
- Critically assess business requirements and propose alternative, value-enhancing solutions with clear evaluations of risks and efforts
- Perform thorough functional analysis with key users and formalize process designs using approaches such as Design Thinking
- Draft detailed functional specifications and work in collaboration with UI designers, developers, and technical experts to create prototypes or mockups
- Facilitate validation loops with business stakeholders and refine specifications based on their feedback
- Coordinate with development teams and cross-functional product owners throughout the solution-building process
- Ensure the quality of solutions by designing and implementing test scenarios, including regression testing
- Identify defects, monitor their resolution, and ensure thorough testing is completed
- Enhance user adoption through the development of user guides, procedures, training, UAT planning/execution, rollout, and transition to product support
- Work alongside users and product managers to define the best user experiences, maintaining personas, process maps, and user journeys
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and usability tests to validate or refine solution design
- Maintain a high level of visibility regarding business processes, dependencies, and areas for improvement
- Proactively suggest product upgrades and enhancements to enhance user experience and operational efficiency
- Keep comprehensive product documentation up to date, including user guides and functional specifications
- Assist in change request management, backlog prioritization, and ensure long-term product consistency in alignment with architectural standards
