Murex Developer

Essential Skills:

• 6-9 years of experience in Murex development, specializing in Murex Datamart.
• Practical expertise in configuring Datamart, including feeders and reporting architecture.
• Advanced SQL skills (writing queries, performance tuning, and creating stored procedures).
• Familiarity with Oracle and SQL Server 2012 database systems.
• Proficient in Java and/or Python for tasks related to integration and automation.
• Experience in both Windows Server 2012 and Linux operating environments.
• Solid background in troubleshooting and providing production support.

Primary Duties:

• Design, develop, and improve Murex Datamart reporting solutions.
• Set up and manage Datamart schemas, feeders, batches, and extraction processes.
• Create and refine SQL queries, stored procedures, and undertake performance tuning.
• Integrate Murex Datamart with Oracle and SQL Server 2012 databases.
• Assist in generating reports for risk management, finance, and regulatory compliance.
• Resolve production-related issues concerning Datamart data loads and reporting inconsistencies.
• Implement automation processes using Java, Python, and Linux scripting when relevant.
• Work alongside business analysts, risk management teams, and infrastructure teams to analyze requirements and deliver solutions.
• Guarantee data integrity, reconciliation, and consistency throughout reporting layers.
