Job Description
HVAC & Mechanical Technical Specialist
Oversee the technical execution of HVAC and mechanical systems in high-tech facility projects, ensuring the owner's interests are represented from the design phase through construction, commissioning, and final handover.
Key Responsibilities
Establish technical requirements and evaluate designs, specifications, and proposed modifications.
Deliver expert knowledge in cleanroom HVAC systems, chilled water, cooling water, clean dry air, process exhaust, and mechanical utilities.
Collaborate with EPC contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to address technical challenges.
Evaluate solutions for safety, compliance, cost-effectiveness, scheduling, operational efficiency, and maintainability.
Assist in equipment selection, procurement processes, construction oversight, commissioning, and final handover.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
At least 8 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biomedical, industrial, data center, or other high-tech facility projects.
In-depth knowledge of HVAC, cleanroom, and mechanical utility systems.
Experience in design, construction, commissioning, and the operational handover process.
Familiarity with EPC delivery methods, design management, and change management practices.
Professional Engineer registration and proficiency in Revit or Navisworks are preferred qualifications.
