Job Description
Position Summary
We are in search of a highly proficient and seasoned Dot NET Engineer to become a vital member of our team for a significant support maintenance initiative. The perfect candidate will possess a robust foundation in .NET technologies, such as C#, Angular, and SQL Server, and will contribute to the development team, ensuring the effective execution of the project while upholding superior software quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with the development team focusing on core .NET frameworks, specifically C#, Angular, and SQL Server.
- Collaborate with Agile team members to address and resolve any technical challenges.
- Deliver hands-on new development and provide support, maintenance, or enhancement of current applications.
- Participate in production support for incidents and serve as a technical expert on new technologies and design methodologies.
- Promote the reduction of redundant processes and code.
- Maintain regular communication with project managers and review as well as approve documentation and diagrams generated by IT team members.
- Oversee the queues of BUA/RTB work to ensure the successful completion of the project.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience working with the .NET platform, including familiarity with .NET 4.5.
- Experience in Public Sector or Government projects is essential.
- Strong understanding of version control systems, web development expertise, and skills in project estimation and planning.
- Preferred skills include jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and AngularJS.
- Experience in high-performing teams throughout the complete development lifecycle.
- Able to start on short notice.
Preferred Certifications
- ITIL, AWS, CSM, MCSD, TOGAF, GCP.
