M&E Project Engineer

Our client is a well-established main contractor known for its impressive portfolio of building projects across Singapore. With ongoing project expansion, they are seeking dedicated M&E Engineers to enhance their project team and aid in the successful execution of significant developments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Evaluate and confirm that M&E works are performed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Participate in project, coordination, and technical meetings to address site issues and facilitate seamless project execution.
• Oversee construction progress and synchronize M&E activities to minimize delays and prevent conflicts among various trades.
• Conduct regular coordination meetings with M&E subcontractors to ensure compliance with the construction schedule.
• Facilitate testing & commissioning activities and combined services testing to guarantee project readiness for authority inspections and handover.
• Maintain and update project documentation to support quality management systems and comply with ISO standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Safety team to ensure adherence to workplace safety protocols, permit-to-work requirements, and site regulations.
• Address non-compliance issues promptly and coordinate corrective actions with subcontractors to uphold project quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in M&E site coordination or project execution within building construction environments.
• Proven experience in coordinating consultants, subcontractors, and M&E trades throughout the construction process.
• Strong understanding of ACMV, electrical, fire protection, plumbing & sanitary, and other building services systems.
• Familiar with local building regulations, testing & commissioning, quality assurance, and workplace safety practices.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Location: East
• Working hours: 5 Days with Overtime
• Salary: up to S$6,000 plus Bonus (Compensation will be based on experience & qualifications)
