Our client, a distinguished civil and building contractor, is in search of a skilled M&E Design Coordinator to oversee mechanical and electrical design coordination and construction support for LTA and building projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage in varied, prestigious projects with a leading industry player.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track the progress of consultants' M&E designs against established submission schedules and design timelines
• Examine design drawings from consultants, pinpointing any missing information, design conflicts, or constructability challenges
• Manage M&E design coordination, maintaining communication with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to facilitate project advancement
• Coordinate drawing schedules and ensure the timely release of construction drawings, aligning all disciplines
• Work alongside BIM modelers/drafters to create precise shop drawings, incorporating dimensions and technical specifications
• Identify essential technical sections and data for construction, proactively addressing technical challenges
• Assist the construction team and subcontractors in document submissions for approvals, such as material submissions, specifications, method statements, and specialized shop drawings
• Resolve and document technical issues encountered on-site, ensuring effective communication

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience as an M&E Coordinator on building and infrastructure projects, ideally with LTA exposure
• Expertise in M&E coordination, contract administration, and professional practice
• Familiarity with temporary site M&E installations, BIM coordination, and shop drawings
• Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret technical drawings independently
• Experience in a main contractor environment

. Salary : up to S$7,500 / Negotiable + VB (compensation will align with experience & qualifications).
