DevOps Engineer

Job Opportunity

• Tasked with the design, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure and automation tools.
• Engage in research, design, and development of computer software or specialized utility applications.
• Create and sustain automation tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, deployment, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with development teams to establish CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment and testing processes.
• Contribute to the industrialization of test management practices.
• Manage OT DeKOT environments effectively.
• Prepare and facilitate the transition of Orchestrade to Run mode for Treasury.
• Monitor and resolve infrastructure and application performance challenges.
• Apply security best practices and ensure adherence to industry compliance standards.
• Support the evolution of our DevOps culture and processes.
• Implement automated testing systems to enhance reusability and efficiency.
• Encourage and apply testing methodologies to detect and rectify defects early in the development lifecycle.
• Provide technical assistance to other teams, addressing internal challenges such as system malfunctions. Offer solutions, recommend enhancements, and engage in data analysis.
• Keep current with the latest developments in DevOps technologies and trends.
• This role will be a vital component of Support for Orchestrade in Treasury.
• Over time, this position will handle level 3 application support for users (from Front to Back Office).

Candidate Qualifications

• Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant fields.
• Strong knowledge of UNIX platforms and database management systems, including SQL, Oracle, and Sybase.
• Proficiency in C# .NET is essential.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and libraries is advantageous.
• Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Shell script, and PowerShell.
• Experience with DevOps tools and technologies such as GitLab, Ansible, Jenkins, Maven, Elastic Search, Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, Control-M, KAFKA, Confluence, Jira, and test automation tools like Selenium and other frameworks like Cucumber.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Understanding of Cloud platforms and services is required.
• Familiarity with .NET and Azure DevOps.
• Background in supporting capital market applications and trading systems, preferably in the fast-paced environment of Treasury and Fixed Income Front Office operations, with a solid understanding of financial products (Treasury, FX, Credit, IRD, Bonds, RSF, etc.).
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
• Willingness and flexibility to work with cross-geographical teams across various time zones.
