Assistant Operations Manager (Airfield Operations)

Adecco is collaborating with a prominent supply chain logistics company to recruit an Assistant Operations Manager. This position will be responsible for managing comprehensive airfield operations, which include passenger and cargo handling, maintenance of ground equipment, and ensuring compliance at the airbase.

• Full-time, permanent position
• Location: Central region
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily air cargo operations, passenger boarding, and ground handling services to achieve on-time aircraft turnaround.
• Oversee maintenance and operational readiness of specialized ground support equipment (GSE), ramp vehicles, and site infrastructure.
• Conduct monthly safety briefings, enhance airside standard operating procedures (SOPs), and manage external audits to ensure consistent compliance.
• Manage workforce scheduling, operational budgeting, staff certifications, and security clearance processes.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve equipment issues promptly, and lead initiatives for continuous improvement in site logistics.

Candidate Requirements:

A diploma in Logistics, Aviation Management, or a related field, accompanied by 3-5+ years of experience in ramp handling, air cargo, or aviation fuel operations.
Proficient in MS Office, digital operational tools, and managing teams in high-compliance environments.
