Solution Architect – Associate Consultant / Consultant

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to create, develop, and oversee scalable applications and cloud-based solutions specifically within the financial services sector. The perfect candidate will possess extensive application development experience, a deep understanding of solution architecture and integration frameworks, as well as practical experience with AWS cloud technologies.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work closely with business units and product owners to devise effective technical solutions and application designs.
• Oversee implementation efforts to ensure conformity with established architecture and design standards.
• Assist development teams in troubleshooting complex technical challenges, performing code reviews, and enhancing code quality.
• Encourage cloud-native development methodologies, Agile practices, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide support to QA teams in test automation and identify any potential technical risks.
• Collaborate with architects to create reusable libraries and standardized architectural components.
• Engage with infrastructure, security, enterprise architecture, and application teams regarding integrations, deployments, and infrastructure configurations.
• Create prototypes and perform technical experiments to validate suggested solutions.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• At least 7 years of pertinent experience in application development, solution design, and business analysis.
• Thorough understanding of solution architecture, application design, and integration patterns.
• Expertise in technologies such as .NET, Java, React.js, Node.js, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect protocols.
• Experience with containers, microservices, DevSecOps, and cloud-native technologies.
• Practical experience in designing and developing applications on AWS; AWS certifications are advantageous.
• Awareness of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), service management, security, compliance, and cloud operations, including incident, problem, and change management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
