Our client is looking for a Data Scientist (Junior-Mid AI Analyst) to serve as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams. The role focuses on understanding business problems, reviewing client data, determining AI/ML opportunities, and converting business needs into workable solutions that drive clear business outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner with clients and senior team members to understand business challenges, document workflows and customer journeys, and uncover opportunities for AI/ML solutions.
• Investigate client data or relevant industry datasets to determine potential data sources, verify data quality, and judge readiness for AI/ML initiatives.
• Establish project goals, define scope, set success metrics, and shape product direction from business requirements, while contributing to project planning and scope management.
• Work alongside solution architects and technical teams to evaluate feasibility, outline AI/ML approaches, and assist with rapid prototyping.
• Support project roadmaps, delivery planning, and ROI evaluations to highlight business value.
• Organise and present client workshops, proposals, and presentations, explaining AI/ML concepts and business benefits to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience in AI-related Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Technical Consulting or a related field. Consulting experience is preferred.
• Basic programming proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, querying, and script-driven data exploration.
• Sound understanding of modern AI/ML systems, especially Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI Agents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to evaluate business challenges, determine root causes, and implement practical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience in client-facing consulting, or a background in data science, AI engineering or software development, is an advantage.

• Working hours: 5 Days
• Salary: up to S$6,000 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
