Data Migration Consultant (FI & PS)

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Data Migration Consultant (Finance & Project Systems) to take charge of and oversee all finance-centric data migration efforts within an SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementation. This position is crucial for guaranteeing the accurate, comprehensive, and timely transfer of financial master and transactional data, facilitating a smooth transition from legacy systems to SAP.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Facilitate discussions with business stakeholders to establish the data migration scope, mapping rules, transformation logic, and reconciliation requirements for finance-related data.
• Work collaboratively with SAP functional consultants and business data stewards to ensure alignment on financial data requirements.
• Coordinate with the technical build team to ensure that ETL development addresses finance-specific needs.
• Organize and manage the execution of all data migration mock cycles, including status updates, issue resolution, and communication with stakeholders.
• Conduct briefings and working sessions with finance teams to ensure user preparedness and support.
• Supervise and address issues related to data cleansing and loading activities, ensuring high data quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Resolve reconciliation challenges and provide assistance during cutover and post-go-live stabilization.

Anticipated Results:

• Financial master and transactional data objects are migrated accurately and completely.
• All mock cycles and cutover activities are carried out on schedule and with minimal disruption.
• Finance stakeholders are engaged, informed, and supported throughout the migration process.
