Job Description
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a cybersecurity position, including practical involvement in SIEM content management, network security, threat monitoring, or incident response.
- Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles, methodologies, and technologies.
- Proficient in SIEM tools and content management, with skills in rule development, alert optimization, and report tailoring.
- Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS), antivirus solutions, and vulnerability assessment tools.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks within the SIEM framework is advantageous.
- Capability to analyze and interpret security data to pinpoint vulnerabilities and emerging threats.
- Outstanding communication abilities, particularly in articulating complex security concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
- Willingness to be on-call or available during off-hours to address security incidents as necessary.
- Occasional travel may be required for training or workshops.
- Experience in implementing threat modeling or other risk identification methodologies.
- Thorough knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation strategies, including penetration testing and exploit development.
- Extensive knowledge in the field of information security, particularly regarding TCP/IP network security, operating system protection, and common attack vectors and exploitation methods.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)) are preferred.
- Proven leadership capabilities and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
