Content Policy Manager

We are hiring an experienced Content Policy Manager to help strengthen content regulation and advance public policy initiatives across Asia Pacific. This role brings together regulatory and legislative analysis, policy development, advocacy support, regulatory readiness, and cross-functional programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Public Policy & Regulation

• Assess regulatory changes and legislative requirements that impact online content and technology.
• Assist with content regulation strategy, regulatory readiness, and advocacy initiatives.
• Cover regulatory and compliance topics across Southeast Asian markets.

Policy Analysis & Compliance

• Review complex regulatory frameworks and convert policy obligations into practical recommendations.
• Recognise compliance gaps and help develop workable, scalable solutions.
• Support social media integrity regulations and user protection policy requirements.

Stakeholder & Programme Management

• Collaborate with policy, legal, product, engineering, operations and regulatory teams.
• Coordinate and build alignment among subject-matter experts on compliance approaches.
• Oversee cross-functional workstreams, including priorities, escalations, and delivery progress against regulatory objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in law, policy, human rights or a relevant discipline.
• Approximately 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, including experience in public policy, government institutions, regulators, legislative bodies, think tanks, NGOs or advocacy.
• Strong policy analysis experience involving regulatory frameworks and complex policy issues.
• Experience managing cross-functional programmes or strategic workstreams.
• Understanding of social media products and their underlying mechanics.
• Experience within the technology sector and a regulatory environment.
• Strong written and verbal stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive subjects and information responsibly.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI-related policy or technology.
• Previous stakeholder engagement and advocacy experience.
• Exposure to internet technology, privacy, security, online integrity, safety or content moderation policy environments.
