Consultant Pathologist

Overview

We are in search of a skilled Consultant Pathologist to deliver specialized clinical and technical support within a laboratory environment. This position emphasizes adherence to ethical standards in diagnostic practices and effective communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the required licensure while managing laboratory functions. Provide expert consultation and diagnostic services in your area of specialization. Uphold the highest standards of quality in all work and services rendered to clients, ensuring clear and effective communication. Approve the use of your credentials as the Consultant Pathologist on diagnostic reports, including cytology and PAP smears. Work collaboratively with departmental staff and coordinate with other pathologists and managers concerning the services offered to physicians.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with relevant pathology certification from a recognized professional board (e.g., American Board Certification, MRCPath, FRCPath, FRCPA, AACB, ABMM, DABCC, Chartered Scientists). A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in a clinical laboratory environment. Registration as a Pathologist in Singapore, along with suitable higher qualifications and training in clinical laboratory fields.
