Cybersecurity Engineer (L2 Support)

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to deliver Level 2 operational support for our security and network infrastructure. This position entails managing incidents, overseeing firewall and proxy configurations, addressing vulnerabilities, and supporting VPN/LAN/WAN environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Level 2 support for network security infrastructure.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and change management.
• Execute vulnerability remediation and system hardening tasks.
• Maintain comprehensive network security documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assist in security implementations across firewall, VPN, IPS/IDS, and proxy systems.
• Administer DNS/DHCP and remote access solutions.
• Engage in knowledge management and promote security awareness initiatives.
• Support configuration management and asset tracking (e.g., CMDB).

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of network topology and security protocols.

Hands-on experience with the following technologies:

• Cisco, Fortinet, F5, Arista, Checkpoint, Infoblox, Ivanti
• Proxy & remote access solutions
• Python, Bash, Ansible (scripting skills)
• Wireshark, NetFlow (network analysis tools)
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
• Capable of working independently and thriving under pressure.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in:

• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• Systems Analysis or a related field
