Our client, a recognized A1 Main Contractor with a proven history in building, industrial, and infrastructure projects across Singapore, is seeking skilled Civil & Structural Design Engineers to enhance their project team as a result of ongoing project expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate Civil & Structural design activities for various building and industrial initiatives.
• Evaluate structural designs, drawings, calculations, and technical submissions to ensure alignment with project specifications and Singapore regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, structural consultants, M&E consultants, process engineers, QS, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Assess and coordinate RC, steel, precast, foundation, piling, substructure, and superstructure works.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Identify and address design, coordination, and site-related technical challenges.
• Prepare and coordinate tender packages and technical documentation.
• Engage with consultants and relevant authorities regarding Civil & Structural submissions and approvals.
• Assist Project Managers in ensuring timely delivery of projects in accordance with programme, quality, and technical standards.
• Conduct site inspections and offer practical engineering solutions during the construction phase.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Civil & Structural design or engineering.
• Experience in building, industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Thorough understanding of RC and steel structures, foundations, and structural detailing.
• Familiarity with precast structures, long-span structures, or industrial buildings is a plus.
• Knowledge of Singapore codes, standards, and authority submission protocols is essential.
• Proven experience in coordinating with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Exceptional technical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Location: East / South
• Working days: 5 Days
• Salary: up to S$7,500 / Negotiable + VB (salary commensurate with experience & qualifications).
