Business Analyst – Trade Finance System

Position Overview

This position is ideal for individuals with a background in Business Analysis, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system testing, trade operations, or banking operations. Recent graduates who possess relevant academic experience or project involvement, along with a keen interest in Business Analysis and system implementation, are also encouraged to submit their applications.

Main Responsibilities

Project & System Implementation

• Assist in the enhancement and implementation of Trade Finance Systems.
• Collect and document business requirements effectively.
• Review functional specifications to ensure they align with business needs.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Testing

• Develop UAT scenarios, test scripts, and test data.
• Conduct UAT and document the results of tests.
• Identify, track, and follow up on any system defects.
• Verify fixes and ensure system functionality aligns with business requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate closely with teams in Trade Operations, Product, Technology, Risk, and Compliance.
• Serve as an intermediary between business users and technical teams.
• Coordinate issue resolution and follow up on action items until completion.

System Support

• Provide ongoing support for system-related queries.
• Investigate reported problems and liaise with relevant teams.
• Monitor and ensure follow-up on system fixes and enhancements.

Process Enhancement

• Collect user feedback to identify potential process or system improvements.
• Support enhancement requests and assist in prioritization.

Documentation & Training

• Maintain essential documentation such as requirements, process flows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other project materials.
• Create comprehensive UAT documentation, user guides, and frequently asked questions (FAQs).
• Assist in user briefings and training sessions for new system features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Banking, or related disciplines.
• 0–8 years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience or internships in Business Analysis, UAT, system testing, system implementation, or trade operations will be considered an advantage.
• Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of Trade Finance products including:
• Letters of Credit (LC)
• Bank Guarantees
• Collections
• Applicants must be Malaysian citizens.

Contract Information

• Contract Duration: 6 months
• Renewal: Dependent on performance
• Start Date: As soon as possible
