Product Designer

Role Overview

We are seeking a product designer with a strong customer focus to enhance the seamless and frictionless experience for MoneyLion users.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and refine user flows and experiences for various products and features
• Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for both web and mobile platforms
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and other teams to make informed design decisions that will shape the product’s future while considering its potential business impact
• Utilize research insights to identify critical user needs, empathize with users, and explore and iterate to propose viable solutions, validating designs with user feedback
• Champion the end user by influencing decisions to ensure that products, solutions, and design choices align with clearly defined user needs and expectations
• Conduct user research to uncover product insights, opportunities, and requirements

• Organize, prioritize, and document work (Design brief) and design systems in a robust, scalable, and adaptive manner.
• Understanding of best practices in inclusive and accessible design

Candidate Profile

• A candidate should possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or relevant experience in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Advertising/Media
• Over 2 years of experience in product design, showcasing a robust portfolio that demonstrates design processes and problem-solving capabilities
• Proficient in tools such as Figma, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Familiarity with Lottie is an advantage
• A portfolio showcasing design work is essential
• Ability to engage in high-level thinking about product strategy and vision (considering not just aesthetics but also what should be developed)
• Strong oral and written communication skills (capable of clearly articulating design decisions)
• Able to thrive in a highly collaborative, cross-functional team environment
• Open to exploring new ideas and challenges with the team
