BIM Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, and engineers.
• Oversee and create models and shop drawings to facilitate construction activities.
• Ensure effective coordination of structural and architectural works throughout the construction phase.
• Possess strong knowledge of structural and architectural details.
• Lead and manage the in-house offsite modeling team for BIM delivery.
• Engage closely with both internal and external stakeholders, including authorities, to address structural and architectural design and construction challenges.
• Support the maintenance of BIM systems and standards for construction initiatives.
• Communicate with clients and consultants, and prepare/conduct weekly progress reports and technical meetings.
• Ensure that subcontractors and vendors comply with project specifications and standards during VDC implementation.
• Experience in large-scale projects, such as commercial towers, is essential.
• Exhibit strong teamwork abilities and the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
• Raise Requests for Information (RFIs) and manage the resolution of disputes and coordination issues with respective trade subcontractors.
• Conduct clash detection and conflict resolution activities.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) on BIM models.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum of 5 years of coordination experience.
• Familiarity with Singapore's building and construction regulations.
• Strong understanding of architectural and structural specifications and requirements.
• Experience in producing shop drawings for structures and architecture.
• Experience with MOHH or commercial projects is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is a must.
• Knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360 is also required.
• Industry BIM certification (such as Revit Professional or BCA BIM courses) is preferred.
• Fluency in Bluebeam or other design review and markup tools is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with various stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with strong time management capabilities.
• Expertise in BIM software is a MUST.
