Equipment Technician

Dyson Singapore is actively seeking an Equipment Technician to join our Advanced Manufacturing facility in Pioneer, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our automated manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reduce equipment downtime and ensure production targets and yield are consistently achieved.
• Implement effective preventive maintenance and provide support for production lines.
• Deliver first-level troubleshooting and resolve production halts caused by equipment problems.
• Document and report all production stoppages linked to equipment or technical issues.
• Conduct process control checks as necessary to minimize equipment downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Offer technical support to production operations to meet output and quality standards.
• Engage in line setup activities.
• Maintain workstations in optimal 5S housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams on continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an automated line environment. An ITC or Diploma in Mechatronic, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Experience with servo motors and intelligent PCs is considered an advantage.
• Demonstrated flexibility and initiative; ability to anticipate problems and seize opportunities proactively.
• Strong collaborative skills.
• Ability to share knowledge and insights with colleagues effectively and clearly.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.
• A genuine passion for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
