Position Overview

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) division plays a crucial role in assisting the Executive team by conducting performance assessments that facilitate strategic decision-making across various markets, categories, and channels. Within this broader team framework, the FP&A group provides in-depth financial performance analysis throughout the organization, collaborating closely with global markets to support the Dyson Executive team effectively.

As a detail-oriented financial expert, you prioritize data integrity while adopting a pragmatic and adaptable mindset. Exceptional interpersonal and commercial acumen are essential for success in this role.

Primary Responsibilities

Global Channel and Category Reporting & Governance

• Deliver precise and timely financial and operational performance analysis and insights across global channels and categories.
• Ensure the consistency, integrity, and accuracy of global profit and loss statements through collaboration with various markets.
• Lead global initiatives aimed at enhancing performance analytics and governance.

FP&A Tools Development and Automation

• Develop and sustain FP&A tools; standardize global tools to ensure consistent reporting.
• Champion automation projects utilizing business intelligence tools.

FX Analysis and Reporting

• Create FX performance dashboards, monitor trends, and offer actionable insights to support financial decision-making.

Governance and Ad-hoc Responsibilities

• Respond to global financial information inquiries promptly and accurately.
• Assist with ad-hoc FP&A projects to bolster financial governance and analytics.

Essential Competencies

• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with SQL and Tableau skills being advantageous.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• A strong inclination and eagerness to develop systems and processes that enhance efficiency and benefit the organization.
