Job Description
Overview
- We are seeking an Assistant Finance Manager specializing in Group Treasury and Risk to oversee our group-level treasury functions, liquidity planning, and financial risk assessment across various entities. This role involves supporting strategic decision-making through meticulous forecasting, valuation analysis, and disciplined financial scrutiny aimed at enhancing capital efficiency and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee group cash and liquidity planning, which includes cash positioning, monitoring working capital, and coordinating funding across entities. Lead the rolling cash flow forecasting process and perform scenario and sensitivity analyses (e.g., interest rate and foreign exchange fluctuations) in collaboration with the finance lead. Supervise interest rate hedging positions and associated risk reporting. Manage intercompany loans and balances, funding requests, and ensure relevant controls and documentation are maintained. Assist in loan execution processes and track ongoing financial and information covenants. Produce regular reports on group net asset valuations and liquidity metrics. Support the administration and renewal of group insurance. Develop and maintain investment and transaction models (e.g., IRR/NPV and related return analyses) to assess acquisition and divestment opportunities. Aid in valuation tasks using standard methodologies (e.g., discounted cash flow, comparable benchmarks, precedent transactions) as necessary. Provide support for transaction execution efforts, including due diligence coordination, preparation of analysis packs, and assistance in deal structuring. Help monitor and execute tax planning initiatives, considering both direct and indirect tax implications where relevant. Participate in cost optimization projects and performance monitoring. Prepare materials and contribute to presentations for monthly and quarterly business reviews, along with KPI tracking.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required. Proven hands-on experience in treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity management within a multi-entity environment. Comprehensive understanding of financial risk concepts (such as interest rate and FX exposure) and the capacity to convert them into actionable reporting. Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with the ability to articulate assumptions and results effectively. Knowledge of funding structures, loan documentation practices, and covenant monitoring processes. A solid grasp of tax considerations affecting financial planning, when relevant to the role. Exceptional stakeholder management abilities with a talent for collaborating with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines. A keen attention to detail, a strong governance mindset, and advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
