AI Engineer

POSITION

The AI Engineer will join a dynamic technology team dedicated to cutting-edge engineering, AI-enabled development, and platform evolution. You will engage in a variety of projects encompassing application development, platform modernization, automation, and operational enhancements while facilitating the integration of AI throughout the software development lifecycle.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement an AI-centric approach to software engineering by utilizing AI tools to expedite solution design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and operational support.
• Collaborate with both business and technology stakeholders to analyze challenges and convert them into scalable technical solutions.
• Quickly develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) and solution prototypes to validate use cases, showcase ROI, and secure stakeholder approval.
• Modernize and refactor outdated applications, platforms, and data workflows throughout the technology ecosystem.
• Create and sustain applications and automation solutions primarily using Java and Python.
• Assist in maintaining business-critical platforms by conducting incident investigations, root cause analyses, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Work in conjunction with global teams across various regions to deliver technology solutions and enhance platforms.
• Assess and incorporate emerging AI capabilities to enhance developer productivity and improve software delivery processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Engineers with strong problem-solving abilities capable of deconstructing ambiguous business challenges into structured solutions.
• Individuals who value AI-assisted development methods over traditional coding techniques.
• Experience with Java and/or Python development in enterprise settings.
• Familiarity with AI development tools, AI workflows, GenAI platforms, or AI-assisted engineering practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate solution strategies and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with large-scale applications, platform engineering, systems modernization, or data-centric projects.
• Experience in financial services is advantageous, but mindset, adaptability, and technical problem-solving skills take precedence over domain expertise.
