Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and validate both business and operational requirements.
• Perform user journey mapping, workflow analysis, and usability evaluations.
• Convert business needs into user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Guide UI/UX enhancements to improve usability and increase user adoption.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and design recommendations as necessary.
• Oversee and prioritize enhancement requests and operational feedback.
• Assist in user acceptance testing and solution validation processes.
• Work collaboratively with the Product Manager, Tech Lead, and development teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Maintain requirements traceability, governance compliance, and thorough documentation.
• Promote continuous improvement of training and evaluation workflows through data-driven insights and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Analysis, Functional Consulting, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading UX, service design, or user experience projects.
• Extensive experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Demonstrated experience conducting user journey analyses and optimizing workflows.
• Proficient in translating business requirements into user stories and functional specifications.
• Hands-on experience with wireframing, prototyping, and UX design methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with Agile product and engineering teams.
• Exceptional facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Familiarity with the enterprise application development lifecycle and system integration processes.
• Understanding of governance, change management, and operational sustainment practices.
• A degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related area.
• Must be eligible to obtain the required security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Training Management Systems, Evaluation Systems, or HR-related platforms.
• Background in Government, Defence, Aviation, or regulated sectors.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PSPO, CSPO, CSM, or UX-related certifications.
• Familiarity with design and collaboration tools like Figma, Miro, FigJam, or similar platforms.
