Cloud Solution Architect

Primary Responsibilities

• Architect and design the framework for cloud platform infrastructure and migration strategies, fostering robust relationships with essential technical stakeholders.
• Manage cloud platform services, encompassing software deployment and upgrades, system configuration, administration, monitoring, incident management, and security oversight.
• Create and uphold templates and standards for Cloud Infrastructure (primarily Azure), while effectively managing performance and costs.
• Advocate for cloud infrastructure utilization, emphasizing the related risks and benefits.
• Communicate technical insights and information clearly to non-technical audiences, ensuring that decision-makers grasp essential points.
• Deliver technical support for business case development, alternative analyses, project effort estimations, and cost requirement documentation.
• Review, draft, and revise technical documentation to ensure precision, quality, and timely updates.
• Continuously evaluate and suggest new technologies to improve internal efficiencies and enhance service delivery to enterprise clients.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or a related field, accompanied by at least 7 years of pertinent experience with enterprise clients.
• Demonstrated success in managing multi-year on-premises and cloud migration initiatives (IaaS, PaaS) for large organizations.
• Expertise in architecting and implementing large-scale Azure cloud solutions that adhere to relevant policies and regulations.
• Experience with large data sets.
• Comprehensive understanding of server infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud computing principles.
• Familiarity with critical infrastructure elements (e.g., Active Directory, VMWare, Windows Server, Linux, NAS/SAN storage, networking) is advantageous.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Perl, and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of API management, microservices, and system integration methodologies.
• Experience in developing cloud-native applications.
• Exceptional problem-solving and collaboration skills, complemented by strong written, verbal, and public speaking abilities.
• MS Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is mandatory.
