Are you an experienced Accountant seeking to advance your career? Emerson has an enticing opportunity for you. In this position, you will assist with essential accounting and financial reporting functions within a manufacturing context, emphasizing factory costing, cost accounting, and manufacturing finance. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Carrying out crucial cost accounting tasks, such as standard cost updates, variance analysis, and month-end closing processes.
- Preparing monthly journal entries and conducting balance sheet reconciliations and schedules.
- Creating and maintaining monthly management reports to aid in business decision-making.
- Participating in quarterly business reviews and annual budgeting efforts.
- Leading the annual cost roll process while ensuring precise cost data management.
- Reviewing and analyzing excess and obsolete inventory reserves quarterly.
- Analyzing warranty expenses and reserve requirements.
- Supporting cycle counts, conducting annual physical inventory counts, and verifying fixed assets.
- Assisting with Free Trade Agreement (FTA) applications and renewals.
- Aiding in meeting annual US GAAP, SOX, statutory audit, and compliance requirements.
- Acting as a primary accounting contact for enterprise IT expenditure reporting.
- Supporting annual business insurance renewal procedures.
- Contributing to special projects, process enhancements, and other ad hoc tasks as necessary.

- Proficiency in factory costing, standard costing methodologies, cost roll processes, and manufacturing finance fundamentals.
- Demonstrated experience in cost accounting functions, variance analysis, month-end closing processes, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data, assess trends, and deliver meaningful business insights.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
- Capability to juggle multiple priorities, ensuring accuracy while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, enabling effective work across various functions and organizational levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification, or a comparable combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience in a multinational organization.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP.
