We are in search of a Test Engineer to assist in the validation and testing of innovative SSD products currently in development. The successful candidate will possess practical experience in functional testing, failure analysis, system configuration, debugging, and both manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct functional testing of SSDs via automated and manual execution
• Implement comprehensive validation and find-fix processes
• Carry out first-pass failure analysis and collaborate with Validation Engineers to address testing failures
• Adjust and improve functional test scripts to meet specified test coverage goals
• Engage in debugging and evaluation tasks alongside Firmware Engineers
• Establish testing environments, systems, and servers for validation purposes
• Execute black-box testing of SSDs on various laptop and desktop platforms
• Oversee and maintain the validation lab while adhering to 6S standards
• Compile test results and generate reports for ongoing firmware health assessment
• Revise test plans and regularly update project status
• Conduct debugging and evaluation efforts aimed at resolving issues

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
• Familiarity with OS installation, laptop/desktop assembly, troubleshooting, and debugging is a plus
• Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux/Ubuntu
• Programming experience in Python or C++ is an advantage
• Experience with Oscilloscopes and Bus Analyzers is beneficial
• Knowledge of or experience with SSD/storage technologies is a plus
• Comfortable working in an ESD-protected laboratory setting
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Validation and Firmware Engineering teams
