Technical Manager

Technical

• Supervising the team's quality, efficiency, and timeliness throughout the design, testing, and project phases
• Evaluate and propose both commercial and technical components of tender/RFQ/RFP submissions
• Deliver clear guidance and technical knowledge in design, development, processes, and systems integration.
• Capable of formulating the economics of design solutions and offering actionable insights for technical-cost benefit optimization to enhance project rollout efficiency and effectiveness
• Skilled in collaborating with both external and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and address issues.
• Ensure adherence to technical procedures, policies, and documentation standards across all project stages.

Management

• Assess resource and equipment needs, optimizing processes and resources within budget and timeline constraints.
• Develop technical training materials aimed at enhancing overall technical competencies at the organizational level
• Formulate and implement development strategies, adjusting as necessary to accommodate evolving needs and requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Qualified in SEDA GCPV PV System Design or an equivalent certification.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience within the PV industry.
• Experience with electrical power systems and medium voltage systems is a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in leading, supervising, or managing a team in the relevant sector, including development work and customer interaction
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
