Job Description
Primary Purpose:
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic service crew member who has a strong passion for food and beverage preparation as well as education.
The barista will be responsible for greeting customers, addressing their inquiries, processing orders and payments, and preparing and serving food and beverages.
Additionally, you will ensure that the workspace and dining area are clean and well-stocked, refresh displays, and continually enhance your understanding of food and beverage quality standards, preparation techniques, and presentation. - Welcome customers, share information about specials or new offerings, respond to inquiries, and handle orders and payments.
- Prepare beverages, which includes grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to patrons.
- Keep work and dining areas clean and restocked, take out trash, and sanitize equipment and utensils.
- Refresh signage and displays to draw in customers.
- Conduct inventory checks and restock items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter.
- Comply with all food safety regulations and quality standards.
