Technical Delivery Manager

Job Objective

We are seeking a Project Technical Delivery Manager who will oversee the technical delivery of business solutions and the introduction of new system capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and organize technical deliverables (including system enhancements and upgrades) to satisfy project requirements within the established schedule and quality standards.
• Collaborate with various application teams to effectively manage the technical dependencies of the solution.
• Monitor, assess, and manage risks and issues associated with technical delivery.
• Provide regular updates on the status of technical delivery.
• Work closely with System Analysts and Business Solution Specialists to gather, comprehend, and finalize functional and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with Architects and Development Leads to ensure that the solution design aligns with enterprise design principles, security protocols, and control standards.
• Report to the Program and/or Project Manager regarding strategic programs.
• Collaborate with Development Managers to oversee application teams in building enhancements.
• Partner with the Test Manager to guarantee the successful completion of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance/load testing, and application security testing with high-quality outcomes.
• Oversee the technical implementation plan across application teams, coordinating technical implementation activities to ensure smooth production cutovers and sufficient post-implementation support.
• Create and maintain documentation in accordance with organizational templates, policies, and standards.
• Timely escalate issues that may affect project timelines and suggest workarounds or solutions.
• Prepare a technical implementation plan across application teams.

Key Requirements Technical Skills & Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and delivering IT capabilities for a multinational or regional company.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role managing IT delivery teams.
• Proven experience in communicating effectively with technical stakeholders.
• Experience in the banking sector, with knowledge of Banking Domain, Java Springboot, and Microservices being advantageous. Experience in executing large-scale, highly available applications or major project implementations is a plus.
• A track record of being results-oriented with a strong emphasis on delivery.
• Experience in systems development work, including prior coding, functional specifications, technical specifications, and overall systems development and testing experience totaling at least 8 years.
• Strong understanding and experience in the software development lifecycle.
• Highly effective communication skills with technical stakeholders, as well as proficiency in communicating with non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking, and solution-oriented skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Additional professional or technical qualifications are a plus but not mandatory.
