Position Overview

The Technical Business Analyst serves as a vital link between business units and technology teams, overseeing the collection of requirements, metadata governance, platform setup, testing procedures, and user engagement to ensure successful product deployment.

Primary Responsibilities

Collect, evaluate, and oversee business and functional specifications.

Develop metadata schemas, business glossaries, and establish governance frameworks.

Design and document workflows related to governance, including controls and stewardship procedures.

Create and maintain user stories, backlog items, and release plans.

Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify platform features, configurations, and customizations.

Prepare training resources and facilitate user adoption initiatives.

Work closely with Product Owners, Data Stewards, Architects, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Necessary Skills & Qualifications

Over 10 years of experience in Technical Business Analysis within Data, Analytics, Data Governance/Management, or Enterprise Data Platform projects.

In-depth understanding of metadata management, data governance frameworks, and data cataloging concepts.

Experience working within Agile methodologies, requirements documentation, and stakeholder collaboration.

Knowledge of platforms such as OpenMetadata, Collibra, Alation, Informatica, or similar tools is preferred.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
