Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and execution of application architecture across enterprise software services and cloud solutions
• Lead digital transformation efforts by integrating contemporary design methodologies, automation, and reusable frameworks
• Investigate and assess emerging technologies to improve system performance, security, and scalability
• Design and deploy enterprise-level applications, APIs, and web services adhering to Agile methodologies and security best practices
• Provide mentorship and direction to the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality results and ongoing enhancements
• Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and technical specifications

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and architecture
• Strong foundation in programming
• Expertise in modern frameworks and tools:
• Backend: .NET/.NET Core, Java Spring Boot, Python
• Frontend: React or Angular
• Databases: MSSQL, Oracle, MongoDB
• DevOps: GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps
• Containers & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
• Messaging: IBM MQ, Kafka
• Scripting: Windows PowerShell or Shell Script
• In-depth understanding of software architecture principles (OOP, CSSLP, enterprise architecture frameworks)
• Experience with service-oriented and microservices architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile practices (Scrum)
• Knowledge of secured or isolated ('air-gapped') environments
