System Support Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day system support, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance for application and server environments.
• Install, configure, and maintain Apache Tomcat application servers.
• Carry out basic administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting for Windows Server environments.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve application, server, and system-related issues.
• Assist with database connectivity, basic queries, and troubleshooting, preferably with Informix Database.
• Monitor system performance, review application logs, and ensure server availability.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams to maintain smooth system operations and support timely issue resolution.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in System Support, Application Support, or IT Infrastructure Support.
• Practical, hands-on experience with Apache Tomcat.
• Sound working knowledge of Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with database management and SQL.
• Exposure to IBM Informix Database is an added advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
