Position: Lead Principal Engineer

Overview of the Role:

Required Experience & Skills

• Over 10 years of extensive software engineering experience, with proficiency in TypeScript or a comparable web stack language
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance for vital, business-oriented systems across various teams
• Expertise in microservices and event-driven architecture, including service boundaries, asynchronous messaging, idempotency, ordering, and dead-letter handling
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL data modeling, focusing on schema design and optimizing query performance
• Proficient in API design and management, encompassing REST and API gateway patterns
• Knowledge of observability principles based on OpenTelemetry, along with familiarity with APM/dashboard tools (such as Dynatrace, Grafana, etc.)
• Understanding of AuthN/AuthZ, least-privilege IAM, and fundamentals of secrets management • Bonus: Experience with Azure
