Staff Systems Analyst

As a System Analyst in the Manufacturing Operations IT division, you will play a vital role in connecting business stakeholders with technology teams to implement solutions that drive manufacturing excellence throughout Emerson's worldwide operations.

Your collaboration with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering departments will be essential in identifying business challenges, articulating solution requirements, and ensuring the successful execution of digital transformation projects.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Facilitating requirements gathering, conducting workshops, and analyzing processes with global business stakeholders.
• Converting business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and solution designs.
• Collaborating with software engineers, architects, and vendors throughout the entire solution lifecycle.
• Overseeing project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
• Assisting in the deployment of manufacturing digitalization initiatives, such as MES, shop floor systems, warehouse solutions, quality processes, and manufacturing applications.
• Coordinating system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and deployment efforts.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives by discovering opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate business processes.
• Providing production support and conducting root-cause analysis for critical business applications.
• Serving as a trusted advisor to business partners by balancing immediate operational needs with long-term technology strategies.

For This Role, You Will Require:

• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Experience in roles such as System Analyst, Business Analyst, IT Analyst, Project Lead, or similar positions.
• Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Experience managing project activities and leading cross-functional teams.
• A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and delivery methodologies.
• Experience with enterprise applications and business process enhancement initiatives.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications That Distinguish You:

• Experience in supporting manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse, quality, or engineering business processes.
• Familiarity with MES, ERP, Oracle applications, manufacturing systems, or factory automation solutions.
• Experience leading global projects across multiple regions.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience with process mapping, business analysis frameworks, and continuous improvement methodologies.
