IT Specialist

Technical Application Support Specialist for Java and Oracle Database.

Proficiency in Windows and UNIX/Linux (Solaris) environments, along with expertise in WebSphere web deployments.

Extensive knowledge of Unit Trust origination and workflow systems.

Hands-on experience in scripting for Windows and Unix, as well as MS-DOS support and operations.

Familiarity with the Banking IT landscape is an advantage.

Availability for 24/7 on-call support.

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

A friendly demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proactive mindset and a collaborative team player.

Willingness to work in Cyberjaya/KL.

Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across borders.

Experience with tools and methodologies such as Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide system support and manage enhancements for the Unit Trust application.
• Specialize in systems related to the Unit Trust domain.
• Carry out Level 2 and Level 3 production support.
• Conduct problem investigations, including identification, root cause analysis, and solution implementation.
• Collaborate closely with users to comprehend their needs and issues.
• Manage system risks and devise improvements to mitigate and control these risks.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding the Scope of Work, enhancement progress, and implementation of fixes.
