System Engineer - Card Technology (Banking Domain)

Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced System Engineer with deep expertise in Cards & Payments technology to support mission-critical enterprise environments.

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end environment support and release management across SIT, UAT, and Production assurance stages.
• Linux/Unix administration, patch management, and SSL certificate renewals.
• Incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and rapid troubleshooting of database (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and middleware issues.
• Monitoring infrastructure via Geneos and Splunk; writing automation scripts in Python, Java, and Shell.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering.
• 6 to 12 years of core IT experience in application support or system administration within the banking/financial sector.
• Prior exposure to card processing platforms (VisionPLUS, Cardlink) preferred.
• Hands-on expertise in RHEL, SQL troubleshooting, and scripting.
