Our client is a prominent design-and-build firm renowned for its extensive portfolio in industrial, commercial, and large-scale construction projects. They are seeking skilled Structural Engineers to become integral members of their project team, collaborating closely with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams throughout various stages of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage structural design and engineering tasks for construction projects.
• Evaluate structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Collaborate with Structural Consultants, Architects, M&E Consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Assess structural proposals, shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
• Deliver technical guidance for reinforced concrete, steel structures, foundations, slabs, beams, and columns.
• Conduct site inspections and address structural design and construction challenges.
• Align structural works with architectural, civil, and M&E disciplines.
• Communicate with consultants and authorities regarding design submissions and technical issues.
• Review RFIs, design modifications, site discrepancies, and as-built documentation.
• Assist the Project Manager in meeting project timelines, quality standards, and budget objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in structural design, building construction, or design-and-build projects.
• Experience with industrial, commercial, warehouse, or large-scale building projects is a plus.
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete and steel structures, structural design, and detailing.
• Familiarity with Singapore’s codes and statutory regulations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with ETABS, SAP2000, or SAFE is advantageous.
• Excellent technical, communication, and coordination skills.

• Location: North West
• Working hours: 5.5 Days
• Salary: up to S$6,000, including AWS and VB (Salary will be in accordance with experience & qualifications)
