Strategic Program Manager
Job Description
We are looking for a Strategic Program Manager to spearhead partnership initiatives at the crossroads of agentic AI, cutting-edge technologies, and innovative content formats, specifically targeting the Korean developer market. You will take ownership of the Korean market for the team by establishing connections with game developers and their senior stakeholders, identifying the technical challenges they encounter on the platform, and conveying these insights back to Meta's product engineering team to facilitate effective solutions. This role is a new venture that values entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability in uncertain situations. The position reports directly to the hiring manager and is based onsite in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage partnership programs that integrate new developers into Meta's content ecosystem within the Korean market.
- Foster and maintain relationships with Korean game developers and their senior/C-level stakeholders.
- Analyze the technical challenges developers face on the platform (APIs, integration, bugs) and communicate these issues, in English, to Meta's product engineering team for resolution.
- Lead initiatives that harness agentic AI and emerging technologies for content development, developer tools, and novel interactive formats.
- Collaborate across various teams, including Product, Engineering, AI/ML, Design, Marketing, and Content Policy.
- Represent programs in external developer communities, industry events, and executive meetings.
- Establish success metrics, monitor program performance, and share insights to guide strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- Business-level or full professional proficiency in Korean (both spoken and written) is essential for effectively managing, negotiating, and collaborating with developer stakeholders in Korea.
- Experience in game development—preferably from a gaming studio deeply embedded in the Korean ecosystem, or from a gaming division within a major tech or cloud company.
- Technical proficiency: capable of grasping how games are developed and discussing technical issues (APIs, bugs, integration) credibly with developers. (Coding skills are not required.)
- A minimum of 8–10 years of demonstrated experience in program management, business development, or strategic partnerships within gaming, developer ecosystems, or technology platforms.
- Ability to professionally engage with senior/C-level executives in Korea, demonstrating strong cultural fluency in Korean business practices.
- Exceptional English communication and presentation skills to collaborate effectively with global internal teams.
- Proven capability to design, launch, and scale programs in dynamic, ambiguous environments.
