Specialist - Tender Support, Tender Centre

Overview:

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the RFQ process for all accounts, guaranteeing submissions are submitted on time and meet high-quality standards.
• Lead RFQ kick-off meetings, ensuring stakeholders are aligned on timelines, scope, and bidding strategies.
• Collaborate with regional teams, account managers, and internal stakeholders to create compliant and competitive tender submissions.
• Review and validate rate submissions to ensure they meet market standards and align with bidding goals.
• Engage in negotiations to enhance pricing competitiveness while properly managing associated risks.
• Conduct pricing analyses and implement ongoing improvements for rate quality to increase win ratios.
• Convert customer requirements into precise pricing and solution documents through detailed tender analysis.
• Maintain organized records of tender data on relevant platforms and databases.
• Track tender results and perform post-mortem analyses to identify key success factors and areas for improvement.
• Ensure a seamless transition to the Implementation team after award, assisting with the setup of SOPs regarding rates.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the Tender Centre.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by the Direct Report and Management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics, pricing, or tender management.
• Experience in pricing analysis and cost modelling is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and QlikView is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and accountability in managing RFQs.
• Detail-oriented and results-focused, with outstanding organizational and time management capabilities.
• Able to manage multiple RFQs under tight deadlines while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with regional teams.
• Possesses strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
